1st Saturday Club
First Saturday's Club Header

1st Saturday is for kids in grades K-5. Members learn what it means to serve others by completing service projects. The club meets the first Saturday of every month from 3:00-5:00. Projects are started or completed and then we enjoy a time of fellowship by eating dinner together. Meetings are typically held in the homes of our members and are led by Kris Johnson and Debbie Rohly.

Five Rings Of Service. Our logo shows the five area we can serve. Kids learn that they can serve God, their family, their church family and friends, their community and the world. First Saturday's Club Circle
Like a pebble dropped into water that causes ripples to flow out, our service begins with those closest to us and can ripple outward to eventually reach the world. This concept gives us our motto “Service Begins With GOD!”

Five Styles Of Service. In addition to the five areas we can serve there are five ways we can serve. These five styles are time, prayers, donations, work, and money.

Each member receives a T-shirt with our name and motto on the front along with our logo and the 5 styles of service. As projects are completed members receive a patch to iron on the back of their t-shirt that indicates the project, ring of service and style of service. Our December meetings are dedicated to reviewing and celebrating our successes.
