This has been another year of multiple hurricanes buffeting the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. A category 3 hurricane has 111-130mph winds and can throw ocean surges of 9-12 feet high! The reach of the storm can span for hundreds of miles (as we had only just discovered with Faye). It really testifies to the power God has, and yet this is a drop in the bucket compared to the almighty power God actually has. The famous storm on Jupiter has been ongoing for ~400 years, spans 15,400 miles, and the wind speeds have been known to get up to 240 mph! You could also consider the whole of our galaxy as a space version of the hurricane. He’s created the whole universe! What a mighty God we serve! |

So as I just released a link to the public about our youth website, I discover there still is some unresolved issues that I'm having a bit of trouble resolving. If you see something not quite right, keep in mind that this is a work in progress, and there will be some kinks to work out. |

If you are seeing this... it's some progress. But apparently I have a long way to go. It seems like everytime I try to add some form of functionality... it doesn't work. It's taking me a while to learn this system. Hopefully I can find some support to either tell me what I'm doing wrong, or help me fix what might be broken. In the meantime... pray. |

It seems like everything is piecing together quite nicely now. Now all we need is some content and welcomed suggestions on how we can make this site all that you can make it. Check out the pictures. Not all of the past albums are uploaded yet. The events page is quite handy, too! |

Not sure many of you pay attention to such geeky news as I do, but the end of the world was supposed to happen on Wednesday at about 2:30pm. Actually it was only a test run for an upcoming experiment that will happen in a month that some believe will cause a black hole. Why would scientists spend 13 years, $6 billion and tunnel 300 feet underground for a 17 mile long circular track? To see how the beginning of the world happened! |
